Christmas Gift Guide

Christmas Gift Guide

I am behind in the Christmas gift buying process.  Usually by now, I have purchased most of the gifts I am planning to give but this year the time seems to have run away from me.  I was also really stuck for ideas so decided to have a browse around the internet for ideas and pop them all in a post in case they can help you with your Christmas preparations.

Please note, some of the links below are affiliate links.  This means that should you purchase anything after clicking on a link, I may receive a small commission.

To save money on your gift buying it is really important to plan in advance.  In this post I share the top tips I follow before purchasing my Christmas gifts.  I also put money away for Christmas each month, so that come November/December I have enough to cover all my present buying.  I know exactly how much I have to spend and I stick to my budget religiously.  I then either pay in cash or use my credit card but always ensure I pay it off as soon as the bill comes in.  Then in January I start the monthly saving all over again.  It’s a great feeling to know you already have the cash waiting.

Christmas Day Food

With the presents all planned, I will now turn my attention to the food for Christmas Day.  Luckily I have some posts from previous years that I will fall back on.  My Christmas dinner will come from Iceland, as it has for the past two years.  It’s good value, easy to cook and tastes delicious.  Can you tell I’m a huge fan of Iceland??

You can even watch the Iceland banned Christmas advert and check out their 'no palm oil Christmas range.
