Meal planning is a great way to save money and reduce food waste. If you plan your weekly menu, write your shopping list and then stick to your list, you can reduce your grocery spend.

Meal Plan Notes
Pizzas got the vote for Saturdays meal. Sunday we are out at lunchtime for a Christmas meal with friends. There is usually lots of food and I eat far too much but this means we won't need any tea. Well, husband and I won't, the boys will probably be starving five minutes later - they usually are.
Wednesday we are having Chilli and Rice and this was from the big batch of mince mix I made two weeks ago. I split it and made half of it into chilli and the other half into spaghetti bolognese.
