Welcome to the first in a new series of Meal Planning posts. Each week, on a Thursday, I will be sharing my meal plan for the coming week.
Why Meal Plan?
Meal planning is a great way to save money and reduce food waste. If you plan your weekly menu, write your shopping list and then stick to your list, you can reduce your grocery spend.

Share Your Meal Plan
It would be great if you would share your meal plan with my me too, as I am always on the lookout for new meal ideas and recipes to try. If the meals are quick and frugal to make, then that is an extra bonus. Please share your meal plan here on my Facebook page. or in comments below. It doesn't have to be anything fancy, you can just write it on the page so we can all see it.
Meal Plans from around the Web
I am also hosting a link-up which will allow other bloggers to post their meal plans. Please check the bottom of this post to see the meals they are planning next week.
My Meal Plan and Recipe Links
Some of my meals may link to the recipe if I have previously posted it on this blog. I plan to post more of my favourite recipes over the coming months.
|SATURDAY||Iceland Curry and Rice|
|MONDAY||Swedish Meatballs & Rice|
|TUESDAY||Pie, Mash & Veg|
|THURSDAY||Kids - Fish Fingers & Chips, Me - Stir fry|
Meal Plan Notes
This week I have changed my planned meal for Saturday to take advantage of a great deal from Iceland. They are celebrating curry week and until 15 October you can get a FREE pack of Pilau Rice when purchasing any 2 Indian Takeaway Curries. I am a big fan of these curries and this 'takeaway' meal for four will cost just £6.36. An absolute bargain. One pack of rice is enough for two people.
Blogger's Link Up
If you are a blogger, I would love you to share your meal plans with my readers. You can link up by clicking on the InLinkz link below. You can also choose to display the 'Share your meal plan' Button on your site if you wish.
