How to Make Money on Fiverr

Can you draw?  Do you have a great voice for voiceover work?  Can you speak different languages?  If so, find out how to  make money on Fiverr.  Offering services on Fiverr is a great way to add to your side hustles and make more money.

What is Fiverr?

Fiverr is an online marketplace where people buy and sell services.  If you want someone to create a video animation, you will be able to find someone on Fiverr to do it for you.  If you can design logos, you could sell your services to someone on Fiverr.  In fact, with the wide range of offerings you will easily be able to find something you could do to make money on Fiverr too.

How to join Fiverr

Signing up is free and you must sign up in order to buy and sell Gigs on Fiverr.

What is a Gig?

A Gig is something that you will do for someone in exchange for money.  For instance, if you are good at building websites, you can add a Gig offering your services.  There are a range of Gigs available.  You can pay $5 to have someone send out your URL to their 2000 Facebook followers or you could pay someone $20 to create some HTML code.

Gigs can be priced anywhere between $5-$995.

Offer Gig ‘extras’ on Fiverr

Within each Gig you can make additional money by adding ‘extras’.  This could be things like faster delivery, extra designs or extra revisions.

Offer Gig packages on Fiverr

For each Gig, you can also create 2 additional Gig packages.  For example, if you were offering to design one logo for $5, your packages could be $8 for two logos and $12 for 3 logos.

Sell Physical or digital products

Gigs can be either physical or digital products.  Some gigs offer a physical product that is posted out to the customer.  If this is the type of gig you will be offering, remember to include the cost of postage.  If you have a digital product, then you won't need to worry about postage.  It is important to ensure you add in details of how your customer will received their product.

Promoting your gig

Your gig is promoted on Fiverr and is searchable by their many users.  You can also promote it yourself across your social media platforms.

Creating a gig

To create a gig you need to add details in to each of the steps listed below.  It is really easy to do and if you have planned in advance, should only take you around 5-10 minutes.
